My first TORNADO...in Colorado?

So, I lived in Kansas for the first 18 years of my life. Never have I had church interrupted for a tornado! We were in the last hour when all of the sudden it got crazy windy. We just shut the window and kept going. All of the sudden, heavy rain, then the hail came..... next, the tornado sirens. What the heck? Since when is Colorado the new Kansas? We moved to the hallways, and eventually the cultural hall. Finally everything calmed down and we were able to leave. We went out to our car....and the sun roof had been left down. We had water and hail in the car! I(maybe it's the Kansas girl in me) always think storms are kind of exciting, but I didn't really get to see anything. It was a pretty small tornado, but it touched down right by us, and was down for about 30 minutes and covered 10 miles. Luckily, nobody was really hurt, and our house was safe! Hopefully our new roof doesn't have too much hail damage!
