A NEW member of the family...and a series of unfortunate events...

Longest title post ever. I know. Not how I was planning on introducing the new member of the family, but stuff happens. Here she is... my new car!

Love her! My favorite feature? The radio stays on until you open the door even when the car is off. I think it's pretty cool. We actually got it a few weeks ago, and I had been waiting for the perfect picture where it's all clean, but this is all I have so....

Why unfortunate events? Well...let's start at the beginning. After arriving home from our fun trip to Utah, and unloading the car, we went to shut the garage. No luck. Something must be in the way right? No. A rabbit had been stuck in the garage the whole time we were gone. Apparently, it liked chewing on garage door wires. Bryan quickly fixed it, but then we had to chase the fat rabbit out of the garage. I guess he had a good Christmas. He ate a ton and pooped even more all over the garage. What are the chances?
Bryan spent the day Saturday cleaning up the rabbit's mess. When I got home from work, everything was in the driveway, so I parked our new car in front of our house. Totally fine...right?

Sunday morning a police officer was banging on the door...weird. The window got shot out by BB gun. 6 cars in our neighborhood had the same problem. Really? Our new car? I wanted to hunt down those punks, but there isn't even really any way of finding out who did it. Just a random act of violence.

I have calmed down now, and the window is fixed and everything is ok! You know who made it better? The incredibly nice and helpful insurance lady on the phone. I usually hate calling those 1-800 numbers that take forever, but she completely changed my opinion of them.

Sorry for the ridiculously long post. This is why I haven't posted forever...a lot of crap has happened. So, we have a new car, and after a long day yesterday, all of the windows are in tact...again.
