Bryan had been in Brazil for work and had a layover in Washington D.C. We decided to meet him there and make it a vacation. "We" includes my parents and Bryan's parents. It was a good time. This is one of the only almost group shots I got :(
There is so much to see and do. Our days were filled to the max. We saw all of the monuments, toured the capitol and white house, visited the holocaust, air and space, archive's, art and history museums, saw George Washington's house at Mount Vernon, and even squeezed in some shopping and the BYU game.
Of coarse, this picture had to happen. Lincoln wasn't really named after Abe, but I feel like he is a great person to share a name with!
The capitol.
Little guy did pretty good considering he was in the stroller most of the time!
I came back with a renewed love for my country and appreciation for all of our forefathers sacrificed to start this country.
We also walked a lot. Lincoln cried when the grandparents left to get on the plane. Then I cried. Then my mom cried. We should live closer to family.

Lincoln looks so grown up! I hate that we don't live by each other...when are you coming to Utah???
Sounds like a great trip!! Glad you had a good time!!
Sounds like you guys had a great time!
I've been waiting for this blog post!! I love the pics. Lincoln gets cuter and cuter with each pic you post. I miss my little buddy. I got sad reading about Lincoln crying when mom and pops left... so sad that I'm tempted sometimes just to quit my job and start somewhere new. Like Denver.
