2

I really like 2 year olds. I know it's supposed to be terrible, but I have a good one. Who is actually a lot closer to 3.
You can tell a lot about what we do at our house, by how Lincoln plays. He yells down the stairs at me, "I need more backer-board."
....and then he plays, I have to go to a meeting..or..I have to go help someone....he has a good dad :)
I've been helping in nursery a lot lately, which I love. I stepped out to change Dallas' diaper. When I came back in everyone said, "Is it your birthday? Lincoln wants to sing happy birthday to you." It wasn't. He just says, "Happy Birthday to you, Mommy" everyday.
...and yesterday when they were handing out sticks to hold during singing time in nursery he said, "My mom needs one. Can I give one to my mom." ...melt.

I feel sad when I think that someday he won't give me the hugest hugs and wave across the room. I know he won't always just out of the blue say, "Mommy, I love you."

In lots of ways, I can't believe he's still only 2. He seems so grown up! Seriously, backer-board?! Julia used to play visiting teacher. She would knock on a door in the house and then come in and give me a message. Sometimes the message would be, "Always brush your teeth."

He is super cute! I love that little voice of his. Ruby pretends to go to meetings, too. Funny what they pick up. Oh, and two year olds are awesome! I think threes are more terrible. :)
