I'm a goal person.

...and I get excited every January. These pics were from our Sunday photo-shoot. The little man started Sunbeams, and he was so excited.

At first I was a little discouraged. I usually have health goals, but since I'm currently getting larger every day, it's not too motivating. Because I somehow feel accountable to my blog, this is what our family is working on this year...

Memorizing a scripture every month. I went through the year ( most of them line up with the theme for primary) and picked short scriptures they can memorize. We're trying to keep our brains sharp over here :) This month John 17:3

In The Friend, they have a New Testament scripture challenge that we are also going to work on. You color a space after you read every week. 

I've been really working on our vocabulary lately also. I found this quote, "The number of words one knows as well as the depth of understanding of those words is related to the ability to think."

So we are also working on enlarging our vocabularies. I was thinking about having a vocab word each week, but I'm not sure how well that will turn out. So it's kind of just a focus. 

We are also working on getting the boys moved into the same room, prepping a baby room, and updating scrapbooks from the past year. Lots to do :)
