Too busy

Apparently we've been too busy having fun, that I forgot to post about everything! We went camping at the Sand Dunes. It was a blast. We went to Southern Colorado where my parents were raised to celebrate Mormon Pioneer Days.
We did the usual parade and carnival, and then headed back home Saturday night in time for church.
These are the cute girls I teach. One of them moved away...tear.
We spent some time in Colorado Springs playing with the Volks. We checked out airplanes, the amazing zoo, played in the backyard at the water table, and went to the Air Force Academy. It was a full day.
This giraffe almost got baby Austin!
The cutest little baby wallaby.
Little dude wants to be a pilot.
On Saturday I got to do her hair. I love doing wedding hair :)
...and then we did the Rugged Maniac, a 5k through obstacles and mud.

This is quite the accomplishment!
I love how Mila's hand is touching Dallas' face. She loves the brothers.
and she's 5 months old and summer is almost over...tear. We LOVE to hear this little one giggle. We all adore her.
Yesterday we went to the reservoir, and I seriously let them just stay forever. It was the best.
For some reason I had always thought went it came time for school to start I would be more ready. I've always heard people say, I just couldn't entertain them anymore, or they were too bored.
I think I have recently hit a spot where I seriously love being with my family. I know Heavenly Father puts us in families to experience true happiness.

My mom always let us know how happy she was to have us home from school for the summer, and  I think I will be the same way.

These last few days of freedom have helped me be a better mother. I seriously go crazy when the house is dirty, but I've just felt like...I can clean later, we're just going to have fun together. Obviously, that can't last forever, but I love it.
