Getting Sad....

We've had so much fun stuff going on, it hasn't really hit me that after Christmas, we're not coming back home to Phoenix. Last week my good friend, Amy, had a going away party for us. She had everyone bring something for the cold. We now have hand warmers, hot chocolate, ear muffs, de-icer, chapstick, and more. I'm sure I'll be missing our weather once we're in DENVER, especially since I've been cold this week and we've had highs in the 60's. We had so much fun. Thanks Amy!!

Friday night, everyone from Madison Avenue went out to dinner for one last time. I love everyone that I work with and will definitely miss them!! Hairstylists are very entertaining people!

Then last night was our ward Christmas party. We're on the activities committee and were running around like crazy. I always love parties, but it's definitely more fun to just go instead of put it on! They announced you could go see Santa, without realizing he had already left (just a little taste of the night). So I went down to see him, and he wasn't there. I ended up being an elf? and sitting in the big chair to ask all the kids what they wanted for Christmas. Oh man.

So today was our last Sunday. I've said this a lot, but I LOVE everyone in my ward! It was so sad to say goodbye to everyone. In primary, they sang goodbye to me and I just about lost it. I have loved being in there for the past two and a half years.

Now, I feel like all the parties are over and it's getting closer. This Saturday will be our last day in Phoenix. I will definitely always have very good memories of my friends, ward, and co-workers. It's crazy how many good people there are, and I haven't even lived very many places. I'm excited to meet all the good people in Denver...

What a sweet friend to prep you for the cold! I think it's wonderful that you have been able to make so many good friends in Phoenix. You have a great attitude and I know you'll make lots of good friends in Denver too. Good luck with the move!
