I'm BACK!

Right now I am posting from the comfort of my new apartment in Denver. Life is good. We finally have the internet, so we don't have to go to the lounge and use the super S-L-O-W computers! Disclaimer...sorry for the long post full of randomness!

So I am loving that we have a two bedroom apartment. Well, actually it's a one bedroom + den. Apparently that means that the extra room doesn't have a door. I'm so excited to have a guest bedroom that I had to show what I've been doing lately. I made a bed skirt so we don't have to look under the bed while watching TV. We got this cute blanket for our wedding, but never got the chance to use it in Phoenix. We've definitely been using all of our blankets here! I still have more plans for cute pillows and everything but just wanted to show the progress. Anyone want to come visit? We have room!!

So, it's official. We have Colorado license plates. Our cars look so different! Weird...
I was thinking that I never even posted about Christmas! I always love being home. However, I didn't hardly take any pictures. Here's one from Christmas morning opening presents. My mom made us all these cute scarves! I even learned how to knit over our break. I feel like an old grandma, but you can actually make really cute stuff!
The drive home was so nice...a little less than 7 hours. Since my parents had to go to southern Colorado to deliver machinery, they stopped by to see our new place. We had so much fun. Here's a picture we snapped while the football game was going on. I'm not sure how Angela got off with out doing anything....but we had fun!

Love the bed skirt! Great job. I'm still a little jealous that I didn't get a pedicure when I was in Denver :)

Knitting, sewing..look at you, you're such a little homemaker now!

I had a really hard time getting used to Utah plates on our cars when we moved...sometimes I still do a double take when I see them. Good job on the bed skirt! We can't wait to come back for another visit!!!

Love your blog! Love your new place! And I love being roomies with your sister...which by the way, I need to apologize...I have been sneaking around your goal of not eating sweets in 2009 taking advantage of the side rule that if one is offered, one may accept. so i accidently do that all the time. i'll try to be better. promise.
